The key topics of the negotiations were double degree programs, academic exchange of students and teachers. Chinese colleagues showed great interest in the competencies of polytechnics in the field of power engineering and automated control systems. As a result of the visit, the parties outlined joint bachelor's and master's degree programs, as well as the development of cooperation in the scientific sphere and exchange of delegations.
Yaroslav Vladimirov, Associate Professor of the Higher School of Nuclear and Heat Power Engineering, gave an open lecture for students of the University of Transport on “Cogeneration plants. Monitoring and Diagnostic Systems”. The topic of the lecture was of great interest to the listeners, making it possible to establish new scientific contacts.
The visit of the SPbPU delegation to Lanzhou University of Transport was another step in the development of international cooperation between Russian and Chinese universities.
