The All-Russian Student Olympiad in Thermal Power Engineering among students took place on November 22-24, 2023 at the V.I. Lenin Ivanovo State Power Engineering University.
Snezhana AFREMOVA, Maryana GGAVRILOVA, Alexander MARKOV, Yaroslav SEMENOV, Daniil CHURAKOV, students of the Higher School Nuclear and Heat Power Engineering of the Institute of Energy, supervised by associate professor Alexey TRINCHENKO, took part in the Olympiad. Thery solved tasks of various complexity in technical thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, boiler plants and steam generators, hydrodynamics, as well as additional tasks in separate prize nominations.
The team of SPbPU took the third place in the Heat Power Engineering 2023 Olympiad, the second place among the universities of the North-West Federal District, as well as the third place in the team intellectual game. Alexander Markov was distinguished in the individual competition and took the third place.
