ROSATOM career event for undergraduates of the Institute of Energy

A career event was held on October 16 for 1-2 year students of the Institute of Energy, majoring in Nuclear Power Engineering and Heat Engineering, Nuclear Power Plants: Design, Operation and Engineering.

 

Olga Kasaeva, leading specialist of the Personnel Assessment, Training and Development Department, presented Rosatom State Corporation, Engineering Division. She described how Rosatom organizes work with youth and students in JSC Atomenergoproekt. At the meeting they discussed the correlation between students' expectations of their future employer and the requirements of the nuclear industry. The audience joined the dialog actively, students shared their expectations and criteria for selecting a future employer. Company representatives expressed their hope that students would firstly do internships and then work as young specialists.
 
During the meeting, a screening of the industry film "This is WE" was organized for the students. The movie tells how people's lives are shaped by their work at Rosatom State Corporation. Students were able to get acquainted with practically all the main divisions of Rosatom State Corporation.
