" I found out about the competition by chance, and since I try to participate in all activities, I sent an application," said Ekaterina. - Contests help to structure the work done: to add new publications to the list, to recognize professional development courses, events, conferences. Since I have been involved in international activities for many years, there have been a lot of projects, meetings, achievements, internships. I have a wide network of international contacts, many of the international professors, that life has brought me together with, later worked at Polytech and became my friends. I should distinguish my scientific group - together with Hashayar Sadeghi and Sayed Hadi Ghazai we are working in the field of atomic desalination and hydrogen production. We do joint work with scientists from Iran, Italy, China, and write joint grant applications. Also, together with my colleagues Lyubov Trofimenko and Anastasia Burovtseva, we are developing the International Energy Academy, hosting nine educational modules for international students four times a year, conferences and seminars, inviting speakers from energy companies and professors from international universities, and generating new ideas in the field of energy".

Yaroslav Vladimirov, Associate Professor of the Higher School of Nuclear and Heat Power Engineering, Research Engineer of the Scientific and Educational Center "Digital Engineering in Nuclear and Thermonuclear Power Engineering", won in the nomination "Young Scientific and Pedagogical Talents". He has been working at Polytechnic since 2013, hired while still a student.

"I decided to connect my life with the university, I have always been interested in learning and learning something new, so I am engaged in various types of activities: scientific work, organizational, and of course, educational, - Yaroslav explained. - I learned about the competition "Golden Names of Higher School" from the announcement on the website of the scientific unit. Having seen the nomination "Young scientific and pedagogical talents", I decided to nominate myself. The application for the contest was comprehensive, they asked about scientific achievements, organizational and methodological work, teaching activities, contribution to the development of international projects of the university. When I filled it out, I was surprised to find that I had something to say about almost every option: a grant from the President of the Russian Federation, the development of international educational programs at the Institute of Energy, the development and launch of the Hydrogen Energy Master's program, and participation in the Priority-2030 program. I don't know what exactly inclined the experts in favor of my application, but I am very honored by such a high evaluation of my work. Undoubtedly, this is a great incentive for further development and work for the benefit of Polytechnic University".
The award ceremony will be held on December 22. The winners will receive award, diplomas and honor books.
