International students glanced into the future at LNPP-2

Students from twelve countries , participants of IEiTS international educational programs had a technical tour to the construction site of the new VVER-1200 power units and to the full-scale simulator at the training center of the Leningrad NPP-2.

Second year student Ege Mert was excited to see the power units that are going to be operated at the first Turkish nuclear power plant Akkuyu.  Visiting the construction site of the second power unit, witnessing turbine installation, learning about tests that insure safe and reliable operation of the futute power plant, the scale of the construction, everything  is impressive!"
